description It is the one of Europe's most beautiful toads. Its rather slim body is light grey with spots of olive- to black-green. This makes it an unusually beautiful species, for a toad.

notes Remove all the remaining insects because they (specially crickets) will be harassing it at night, resulting stress.

Food items should be no larger than 1/3 of the size of its head.

reproduction Oviparous; can lay between 7,000 and 13,000 eggs, but usually between 10,000 and 12,000
mating age from 4 years
eggs Eggs are black and are laid into two strings, 2-4 parallel rows per string. These egg strings measure 3-4 metres. The eggs are laid at night and they take a couple of days to hatch
