A mediumsized slider turtle,
the southernmost species of its genus, and the onlysouth
American Trachemys with a temperate climate habitat. These
turtles bask a lot, so the basking spot should be ample
enough for all the turtles .Plastron can be yellow to
reddish orange, and carapace pattern ranges from a light
green with fine black lines and yellow-orange areas, to
the peacock pattern, with black spots encircled in yellow
rings with a green background. |
